WEEK 9

Hugs, kisses and alcohol breath. Aunts, Uncles and dim-witted relatives. Dancing, flower throwing and money tree’s. Beautiful baby’s. Men in tuxedos and women in dresses. Excited children and sweaty adults. A mix of music and karaoke that night. Mother-son dance, and father-daughter one too. Lots of photos, smiles and tears.

  1. Vjac, I see you cowering in the corner, fingers crossed that I won't slam you for this week 9! Well, this is literary pointillism, without a doubt. You can do it! Vignettes will not be your downfall!

Don't give me a rewrite, but try another one along the same lines as this to reassure me that you are confident about this sort of writing.

  2. Haha I was hoping I wouldn't get a re-write request, but I figured since it was super short-I would. There is just so many ways to write a vignette, and I wanted to try different ones. I will try a re-write asap, though. :)

  3. I think this was the first piece of yours I read yesterday, but your prompt reactions settled my doubts. Forget the rewrite.
